What I do in my "20 minutes leisure"

I bought four plain baby tee, I am going to make presents for my sister and aunt, for their new baby born. And they are;

I am an IT expert

If you wanna go to the office with dad, you have to dress like him ;)

I don't have time to make the tutorial photos, but I'll bet you can do it. it's a piece a cake, just drew any shape, and trace it to your fabric, cut and then sew them on tee. Voilaa ....

Pendatang baru dimeja 'kerja' saya (New comer on my workspace)

Ini meja 'kerja' saya, mungil dan seadanya, saya biasa memakai penutup meja plastik bermotif kotak-kotak (yang warna coklat) untuk mengukur agar potongan kain saya simetris, dan ya! saya perlu menata ulang ... hehe

This is my working space, petit and just like what it looked like, I used to use a squares pattern plastic tablecloth to make my seam symetric, and yup! I need to revamp .. lol

Sekarang saya punya Cutting Mat beneran, merk Olfa, meja bunga tulip dibawahnya itu hasil daur ulang meja setrikaan sama headboard kasur, maunya saya post tapi gambarnya ga bagus, tapi nanti saya coba edit dulu biar enak diliat.

I have my own real Cutting Mat, It's Olfa, you see that white tulip desk under it? I revamp it from my old iron board and headboard, I was gonna post it, but the picture was not too good, maybe I'll post it someday, after I edited first of course

Horeeee, saya dapet kiriman alat alat jahit dari kakak saya yang di Jepang, saya yang minta sih karena sulit sekali cari toko jahit dan kerajinan yang lengkap disini, baik banget yaaa

Yaay, I got sewing tool package from my sister whose in Japan, actually I asked her to buy me those because it is quite hard to find an all in one sewing and craft store here, isn't she's nice

Saya mau perkenalkan satu persatu;

Ini tang pembuat lubang eyelette   (kalau di Indonesia namanya mata ayam), saya pernah beli ini di Asemka-Jakarta harganya Rp 35.000,- tapi ternyata pas lagi jalan ke Ramayana dept. store ada juga sama persis harganya Rp 10.000,-  nyebelin banget gak sih :(. Cuma yang dari Jepang lebih lengkap karena selain bisa pasang eyelette, dia juga bisa untuk pasang kancing cetet 

This is an eyelette pliers (Indonesian name it Chicken eye), I once bought this kind at Asemka-Jakarta and it worth 35.000 rupiahs, but when I went to Ramayana dept. store I saw exactly like I bought at Asemka for 10.000 rupiahs, isn't that annoyed? But the one from Japan has two function, besides eyelette it also used for snap grommet.

Ini pemasang kancing kain ukuran 22 dan 18, tapi kalo di sini ukuran 18 = 28 dan 22 = 32

This is a fabric button snapper sized 18 and 22, but in here 18 = 28 and 22 = 32

This is for making bias tape 

Dan yang terakhir, kancing-kancing lucu ini. Kayanya saya gak akan buka, terlalu lucu :))

And the last one is these cute botton. I think I won't open the seal, it's too cute :))

Cukup buat sekarang, nanti saya akan post lagi dimana saya bisa beli bahan-bahan menjahit dan kerajinan tangan di Indonesia, terutama di Bogor, kasih tau saya kalo ada juga yang tau tempat tempatnya yaa :))

And that's for now, I'll post again where can we bought sewing and art supplies in Indonesia, especially in Bogor, please let me know if you knew one, or more :))

Ooooo, seneng banget deh tas ini (Ooo, I just love this purse)

Liat ga? liat ga? keren kaaan?, oke kalo kenarsisan saya bikin kamu mual silahkan ambil kantong plastik sekarang. Hehhehe, lagi seneng banget, kemarin bikin tas kecil buat dipake sendiri jadi bikinnya juga ga terlalu niat dan pake bahan yang ada aja, tapi kok pas selesai jadi keren begini yaaa (silahkan ambil lagi plastiknya).

Pas buatnya saya ga kepikiran banget mo foto2 cara pembuatannya, jadi sorry ga bisa kasih tutorial bikin tasnya sekarang. Oya, menurut saya yang bikin jadi tambah unik talinya itu loh, itu juga bikin sendiri, saya tipe orang yang kalo udah ada maunya tuh, maju terus pantang mundur. Tadinya udah nyerah banget mo bikin tas ini, resletingnya bikin ribet, ini pertama kali saya pasang resleting, buat tas n pake resleting jepang pula, hhhhhh kebayang deh ribetnya, dari project2 yang saya buat (skala 1-10) tingkat kesulitannya ada di level 9.5. Kenapa saya mau ribet ribet pake resleting jepang segala, karena resleting biasanya ga ada n saya pengen tasnya hari ini udah jadi ..... seperti tadi saya bilang, maju terus pantang mundur :p

Saya janji bakal post tutorialnya kalo bikin yang begini lagi tapi kapan ya?? sementara saya kasih tau cara bikin talinya dulu aja ya ....... di post selanjutnya yang pasti, sekarang mo jadi chef dulu alias masak :))

Did you see? did you see it? cool eh? okay you can grab the bucket now if my narcistic makes you want to vomit, lol, I was soo excited, yesterday I made this purse fo my self with material that I have, so I wasn't expected this cool (you may grab your bucket, again).

As I said before I made it unpurposely so I didn't think to take the "how to photos", I am sorry if I can't give you the tute now. By the way, I think what makes the purse unique is the strap, or handle? I was making it by myself.

I happened to be a person who wants to do something, I want to do it, now! I was fed up actually, it was because the zipper, I used the narrow width zipper which supposed to used on making dress, put it on a purse is "totally fail' at lease for me, this is the first time I put zipper on fabric especially THAT kind of zipper, why am I bother to used that zipper? because I don't have any other zipper stock, and I need to wear the purse today ... like I said, do it now or never :p

I promise I will show you the tute someday, meanwhile I am going to show you how to tie the knot for the strap first ..... on the next post of course, I am going to be a chef now a.k.a making lunch for my family

update: I just know that THAT kind of zipper name is INVISIBLE ZIPPER, ha!
